Hey Furby voice commands: all five modes and three secrets

Press the heart gem, say "Hey Furby!", wait for us to listen, then say one of these. That's the whole trick.

The five main commands

"Dance Party" starts the singing and dancing; there are about 11 songs, from Pizza Rap to President of the Moon. Tap the head to change song, tap the belly to hear the current one again.

"Tell My Fortune" has two modes. In Crystal Furball you rub the belly for a prediction. In Magic Furball you ask a yes-or-no question and shake for the answer.

"Copycat" records what you say and plays it back with one of six effects: chipmunk, robot, giant, space cadet, baby or echo.

"Let's Chill" slows everything down with meditation, affirmations and stretches.

"Light Show" turns the ears into nine light patterns, including Double Rainbow, Silent Disco and Campfire. Tap the head to switch pattern.

Three secret commands

"Fun Fact" gets you a random fact, and sometimes a Furbish lesson. "I Love You" gets an affectionate answer. "Selfie" makes Furby strike a pose; press the head for a different one.

Things that don't need a command

Shake a Hey Furby and its ears change colour. Press and hold the belly and head together for cuddle mode. And to introduce a second Furby, hold both heart gems for five seconds until you hear "Furdar activated".
